Aleksander Golitsyn is one of the non-playable characters in LEGO Dimensions, from the Mission: Impossible franchise.
Background[]
Alexander Golitsyn was a minor character in Mission: Impossible. He was the target of Jim Phelps' team to prevent the theft of the CIA non-official cover (NOC) list in the Prague Embassy. When Ethan Hunt was able to hack into the security cameras, he was seen downloading the file into a disc before leaving the embassy, and he was soon tracked down by Ethan and his fellow operative Sarah Davies. However, as just as he was leaving, he was stabbed to death by an unknown assailant who later kills Sarah with a dagger.
As it turns out, however, the NOC list he took with him was fake, and he was the pawn of the IMF's search for the mole Job (initially suspected as Ethan Hunt).
Trivia[]
- In the film, he was portrayed by Marcel Irues. In the game, he is mute.
- In the film, Golitsyn was stabbed to death by the same unknown assailant (later revealed to be Franz Krieger) who killed Sarah Davies shortly after stealing the fake NOC list at the Prague Embassy. However, his death scene was cut from the game, possibly to shorten the level; it is still assumed that he died sometime after stealing the fake NOC list.
