Archive Audio  is sound that is reused from the TV shows or movies as opposed to newly recorded dialogue, allowing the characters to talk with the voice of the respective actor that portrayed them. This method is used for characters from Doctor Who, The Simpsons, The Lord of the Rings, The LEGO Movie, and Ghostbusters for Year 1, and Harry Potter, and Mission: Impossible for Year 2. This method is used in the event that a character's original actor is either unavailable or deceased. Or, as is the case with some of the previous incarnations of the Doctor, when the actor's voice doesn't sound like it did in the show.
