Ed Mulgrave Jr. came to Erin Gilbert after Tour Guide Garrett had an event with Gertrude Aldridge at Aldridge Mansion. When Erin along with Abby Yates and Jillian Holtzmann came to investigate the mansion, Ed's father was confused with him, before he also came out to greet them.
