“This is not good, this is definitely not good... You there? Couldn' gimme a hand, could yeh?"”
— Hagrid upon approaching.
Starting the Quest
“Righ'. Thing is, strictly speakin', I'm not supposed ter be raisin' any dangerous magical creatures. Now, Acromantulas are'n' dangerous; well, they are, but yeh just gotta know how ter treat 'em is all...
I brought a couple o' eggs with me... Not ter trade, mind - they're Class A Non-Tradeable Material - jus' ter find 'em a good home, yeh know? But my bag had a hole in it, an' the eggs musta' fallen out all over the place...
They're due ter hatch any day now, an' I'd be in a heap o' trouble if we had Acromantulas runnin' 'round Diagon Alley. Yeh wouldn' mind helpin' me find 'em, would yeh?
— Hagrid upon starting the quest.
Finishing the Quest
“You found 'em? All of 'em? All FIFTEEN? Or was there SIXTEEN? No, no, definitely FIFTEEN... Or was it? Nope, fifteen. Righ'.
Well, I suppose yeh deserve a reward, don't you, eh? Fang dug this up the other day, I didn't know what ter do with it, bu' it looked ever so fancy. Why don't yeh take it off my hands? Thanks again.”
— Hagrid upon completing the quest.
Find 15 missing Acromantula eggs and return them to Hagrid.
The quest uses lots of eye dialect in the dialogues, which is the use of nonstandard spelling for speech to draw attention to an ironically standard pronunciation, such as: to is spelt as ter, you is spelt as yeh and so on.
