Starting the Quest
"How do you do? I was hoping maybe you could help me. I was right in the middle of solving some very sophisticated, brain-bending riddles, when I suddenly remembered I haven't GOT a brain to bend! Or to solve riddles with! It's an awful shame...
But YOU look like you've got brains to spare! Perhaps if I watch you solve these riddles, some of your smarts will rub off onto me. That's how it works, right? Whaddya say?" Scarecrow upon approaching him.
Finishing the Quest
"By golly, watching you in action there made me feel like a genius! I feel like a hundred geniuses! Every single piece of straw in this haggard body o' mine is positively bursting with knowledge! Thanks ever so much, pal!" Scarecrow upon completing the quest.
- If it's brains you want to show, go to the place where the apples grow. Amongst the roots you shall find, another clue to test your mind.
