Serves itself as the steed for the Joust Knight and competitors, the ostriches then help their competitors to eliminate each other.

They were among the characters from the Midway Arcade Games that came to life and began to wreck havoc in the world of Gamer Kid under the influence of what is presumed to be Lord Vortech's power.
Gamer Kid encounters one of them being ridden by a Joust Knight in a room of Arcade machines. By using Gamer Kid's Speed Ability to dodge the Joust Ostrich and activate all the machines, another Joust Knight and Ostrich appear, and the two pairs and eliminate each other, sending them back to their game.
