K-9 is a Doctor Who vehicle in LEGO Dimensions. It is The Doctor's personal vehicle, and is included in 71204 Level Pack.

Background

K-9 is a robot dog acquired by The Doctor who proved useful for the powerful laser weapon concealed in his nose, encyclopedic knowledge and vast computer intelligence. There have been at least four separate K-9 units in Doctor Who, with the first two being companions of the Fourth Doctor, and the third and fourth being companions of the Tenth Doctor.

Trivia

  • In most appearances in the classic series and its revival, he is voiced by John Leeson. In other appearances, he has been voiced by David Brierly, and Roy Skelton.
    • Archive audio is used of Leeson's performance from the series whenever K-9 is entering or leaving the game, due to Leeson being unavailable at this time during the development of the game.
  • He is the only level pack gadget that doesn't have a unique ability.
  • Strangely, even though the K-9 model comes with the Twelfth Doctor, in the series, the Twelfth Doctor has currently not encountered K-9.
    • The Doctors that have met K-9 are the Fourth Doctor and the Tenth Doctor.
  • K-9 had his own spin-off show.
  • Just like Doc Brown, he has four lines when leaving.
    • Though, he is the only character to have five lines when entering the game.
