Kate Beringer is a non-playable character in LEGO Dimensions, from the Gremlins franchise.
Background[]
Kate Beringer is one of the main characters of the Gremlins film franchise. She first appeared in Gremlins as a worker at the Kingston Falls bank, and as a volunteer bartender at Dorry's Tavern. In the sequel, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, she worked as a tour guide for Clamp Enterprises. She is also the fiancee of Billy Peltzer.

- In Gremlins and Gremlins 2, she was played by Phoebe Cates. She returns to voice her in the game.
- The outfit she is wearing in the game is derived from her Clamp Tower tour guide outfit from Gremlins 2.
- Occasionally, you can hear some NPCs in the Gremlins World mentioning that a fire brigade had to pull out a guy in a Santa suit from a chimney with gifts, which is a nod to why Kate hated Christmas in the first film, as her dad died on this day trying to surprise her and her mom doing this very same stunt.
