The Lumberjack is a non-playable character in LEGO Dimensions, from Midway Arcade.
Background[]
The Lumberjack is the main character of the arcade game Timber, released by Midway Arcade in 1984. He works at a logging camp in the countryside with a nasty boss who wants to ensure that the job is done promptly: he has a limited number of time to chop a certain amount of trees for wood which increases in number as the time decreases for difficulty purposes, while avoiding threats like angry beehive-throwing bears, the beehives themselves and even falling trees he has cut.
When there are 2 gamers playing the game, he is accompanied by a blond blue lumberjack who also works at the same logging camp and players can make trees fall onto their opponents for 1,000 points.
Dimensions Crisis[]
He was amongst the possessed video game characters that came to life and caused havoc in Retro Wreckage. Later on, however, if the player finds the Paperboy bonus area (which can be done by using a Jet Switch on the rooftop), he is found being trapped underneath a tree which requires building a huge ax from the LEGO Bricks dug up, nearby.
Trivia[]
- The Lumberjack stuck underneath the tree in the Paperboy bonus area in Retro Wreckage is the red lumberjack who is usually the player's main avatar in the game.
