Background[]
Marauders are a group of large, buff, blue, male humanoids that enjoy rough-housing, and lived together in the Marauder Village, which stands at the bottom of Mountain Man. In "It Came from the Nightosphere," they get their souls sucked out by Hunson Abadeer. Since "Burning Low," their village has become the site of Flame Princess's house.
Trivia[]
- Cole Sanchez voiced two of the marauders in "Who Would Win."
- In "Memories of Boom Boom Mountain," the Head Marauder is voiced by Thomas F. Wilson while the other Marauders are voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, Matt L. Jones, and Pendleton Ward.
- In the episode "It Came From The Nightosphere," the actor who played Biff in the Back to the Future trilogy, Thomas F. Wilson, did the voices of all the marauders outside of the Head Marauder.
- This actually is in contrast to the episode "Memories of Boom Boom Mountain", in which only the Head Marauder was voiced by Thomas F. Wilson and the other Marauders were voiced by other voice actors.
- As seen in "It Came from the Nightosphere," the Marauders are capable of engaging in intellectual conversation, indicated by the joke of the lead Marauder's punchline being "That's what I think of Expanding Earth Theory!"
- The Marauders seem to be based on Norse mythology, specifically the concept of Valhalla where the gods spend eternity feasting and fighting. Some of them have wings on their helmets, similar to the popular portrayal of Thor.
- The Marauders seem to live in the Mountain Kingdom or somewhere near it because of the large mountains around their village. However, in the game the village isn't fully surrounded by mountains like in the actual series.
