Mayhem is one of the non-playable characters in LEGO Dimensions, from the Ghostbusters (2016) franchise.
Background[]
Mayhem was a flying creature with animal-like traits that haunted the Stonebrook Theatre. It was the first ghost to be successfully trapped by the Ghostbusters.
The first encounter with Mayhem was by Fernando the janitor, who got attacked by Mayhem when they came out of a vent and started tossing Fernando around the room. The only reason Fernando survived the encounter was because of Jonathan the theatre man, whose screams scared Mayhem away. The Ghostbusters then came and investigated the scene. Abby Yates then found a Hyper-Ionization Device, which most likely caused Mayhem to appear. Patty Tolan then had an experience with a mannequin that was possessed by Mayhem. Patty then came running through the door to the room where Abby found the Hyper-Ionization device, where she met up with the other Ghostbusters. Suddenly, the mannequin (still possessed by Mayhem) breaks the door causing the Ghostbusters to fire their proton beams at them. After a few seconds the mannequin breaks, revealing Mayhem's true form. They then went flying down the hall and up through a vent.
Mayhem then appeared on the stage of the concert with the band "Beasts of Mayhem" who thought they were a special effect. A few seconds later Mayhem threw the lead singer into a stack of speakers. Moments later, the Ghostbusters come onto the stage via backstage and start firing at Mayhem. They start firing away hitting some decor. Then, Abby and Patty leave the stage to hunt Mayhem. Patty, while getting off the stage, falls and finds Mayhem on her shoulders. Patty tries to get them off but Abby decides to fire at them, so the other two Ghostbusters joined in. Mayhem eventually gets off and Patty starts firing at them. Then Jillian Holtzmann laid down the Ghost Trap, everyone steered Mayhem towards the trap and they were successfully trapped.
When Dr. Martin Heiss went to the Ghostbusters H.Q., he questioned the Ghostbusters on why they were making these "fake" ghosts. Erin Gilbert then releases Mayhem, causing them to grab Dr. Heiss and throw him out the window, and Mayhem was free again.
During the Battle for Times Square, Mayhem attacks Abby, dragging her away until Erin shoots them with a proton stream. They then later attack Jillian, but Patty is prepared with her Ghost Chipper, trapping Mayhem again.

- Their skin color was first seen as blue, but then in-game, the skin color changes to green, which is the same color as in the movie.
