Meltdown Clean-up is a quest that you can find in The Simpsons Adventure World at Springfield Nuclear Power Plant given by Mayor Quimby.
Dialogue[]
Starting the Quest[]
"This is an emergency! Aliens, acting with the full support of my political opponents. I assume, have attacked our beloved nuclear power plant. Rivers of nuclear waste are streaming into our otherwise well-run city!
I implore the citizens of Springfield to help clean up the streets, literally, before we are all mutated into unsightly monsters! But if you do, in fact, turn into a monster, remember to vote Quimby. Joe Quimby: he cares about monsters." - Mayor Quimby upon approaching him
Finishing the Quest[]
"It appears that you have, ah, saved our city from an unspeakable fate. In thanks, and in anticipation of a great photo op, I present you with the Brick to the City!
...which WAS a key, until we had it melted down after somebody, who will not be named, tried to eat it thinking it was made of chocolate... Congratulations! Vote Quimby." - Mayor Quimby upon finishing the quest
Objective[]
Clean up 50 nuclear waste puddles around the Nuclear Power Plant.
Trivia[]
- This quest will require a character (like Aquaman and Krusty the Clown) or vehicle (such as the X-Stream Soaker) with the Water Spray Ability.
- Quimby's comment regarding the key to the city references the Simpsons episode "Mr. Plow." He gifts the key to Homer Simpson for his recent plowing business, but takes it back once Barney runs a superior business. He notices the bite marks on the key, and Homer explains he thought it was chocolate wrapped in foil.
