Merlin the Wizard is a non-playable character in LEGO Dimensions, from the Midway Arcade franchise.
Background[]
Merlin the Wizard is one of the protagonists in Gauntlet. He is a powerful hero, but, will greatly benefit from Extra Power Potions to augment his armor and speed. As might be expected, Merlin should avoid melee in favor of his powerful ranged attacks. His Magic power is great enough to blow away nearly all enemies.
Dimensions Crisis[]
He guides the Gamer Kid around the Coin-Op arcade and tells him about what is going on around the arcade. He also tells him about the classic arcade games after Gamer Kid finishes playing them. There is also a yellow Vortech-possessed version of himself spotted with the other Gauntlet characters, similar to his original video game appearance. However, that figure is a separate entity from him.

- He shares the same hairpiece as Saruman, but with an all white color. He also shares the same torso piece as Gandalf, but in blue.
- In the Midway Arcade Adventure World and Gauntlet, his clothes are yellow. While in Retro Wreckage, it is blue.
