Monastery of Spinjitzu is a Ninjago location featured in LEGO Dimensions. It appears in the Ninjago World.
Background[]
It was a small structure built atop one of the Mountains of Impossible Height, seen in LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. It originally served as the home of the First Spinjitzu Master and he raised Garmadon and Wu within its protective walls.
While training one day, Wu lost his sword and his brother Garmadon went to claim the katana outside of the monastery, however, he was bitten by the young Great Devourer, whose venom slowly corrupted him. After he passed away, Wu and Garmadon inherited the Monastery, and centuries later when Garmadon went to train under Master Chen, Wu stayed at the monastery while teaching his first pupil, Morro. After Morro realized he wasn't to become the Green Ninja, he angrily left the monastery, and later died while searching for a sacred tomb.
Many years later, Garmadon's corruption would lead him to try and steal the Golden Weapons. A battle broke out between him and Wu while at the monastery, with Garmadon being banished to the Underworld. Many years later, Wu assembled a team of Ninja that comprised of Cole, Kai, Jay, and Zane. The group used the Monastery as their first headquarters until it was burned down by the Hypnobrai tribe.
