Omochao is one of the non-playable characters in LEGO Dimensions, from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
Background[]
Omochao is a robotic Chao with virtually unlimited knowledge about the world. A close friend and ally of the Animals and Chao, he is also a television personality, working as both a news reporter and commentator for Extreme Gear competitions.

Omochao first appears in the Marble Zone where he was glad to see Sonic and gave him advice that he did not need. He was later seen being rescued by Sonic with Shadow, Knuckles and Big in the Rifts loops.

Trivia[]
- He is voiced by Laura Bailey, who has voiced him in all Sonic games released from 2010 until 2018.
- Bailey also voices Wonder Woman, Dorothy Gale, and Maggie Sawyer.
- Omochao's name is a portmanteau of the Japanese word "omocha" (玩具? lit. "toy"), and "Chao".
- Sonic insisting that Omochao doesn't need to give him help and tips is a reference to the former's infamy as an annoyance within the Sonic fandom.
- If you hit Omochao, he will start to complain. This is a reference to Sonic Adventure 2: Battle where if the player picks up Omochao and doesn't put him down, he will do this.
- Omochao is the only character in Sonic's world to not have a quest.
