Oods are one of the non-playable characters in LEGO Dimensions, from the Doctor Who franchise.
Background[]
The Ood, also known as Oodkind, were a gestalt, gentle species of telepathic humanoids native to the Ood Sphere. All Ood were born with a forebrain in their heads and a smaller, secondary hindbrain which they held in their hands. The hindbrain was responsible for processing memory and emotions. When humanity enslaved the Ood, they removed the hindbrain to ensure a dedication to servitude. This made the Ood highly susceptible to potentially dangerous emotional instability, and, at times, violence.
