Paramount Pictures Corporation (commonly known as Paramount Studios or simply Paramount, and formerly known as Famous Players-Lasky Corporation) is an American film studio, television production company and motion picture distributor, consistently ranked as one of the "Big Six" film studios of Hollywood. It is a subsidiary of U.S. media conglomerate ViacomCBS. Paramount is a member of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA).

In 2014, Paramount Pictures became the first major Hollywood studio to distribute all of its films in digital form only. Paramount is the fifth oldest surviving film studio in the world, and America's oldest running studio, founded in 1912.

They were well known due to films and film franchises such as Indiana Jones, GameToons, Nickelodeon Movies, The original Peanuts films, School of Rock, Michael Bay's Transformers, J.J. Abrams' Star Trek, Mission: Impossible, and Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They are responsible for lending Mission: Impossible to LEGO Dimensions.

  • Before Paramount lent Mission: Impossible to LEGO Dimensions, they previously worked with LEGO on licensed sets and video games based on Indiana Jones, Spongebob Squarepants, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Dora the Explorer.
  • LEGO Dimensions is the second time that a property from Paramount Pictures is used in a LEGO game, the first was Indiana Jones.
  • Paramount would later distribute the Sonic the Hedgehog live-action movies.
