Special Weapons Daleks are non-playable characters in LEGO Dimensions, from the Doctor Who franchise.
Background[]
The Special Weapons Daleks were created not before the Battle of Pejorica. In 1854, through a time corridor, an inoperative Special Weapons Dalek landed back in time in the house of Michael Faraday.
While Ace was in Spacefleet fighting in the Second Dalek War, she witnessed a Special Weapons Dalek vaporise a Red Crescent ship full of children. She drilled through its motive units so it couldn't move in an attempt to steal its energy banks. While she did this, it begged her to kill it. Ace listened to it cry until its power ran out. After detecting the Sixth Doctor on Skaro, the Daleks later known as the Renegades sent the Special Weapons Dalek to exterminate him. Later, the then-Dalek Emperor sent the Special Weapons Dalek to Spiridon to deal with Davros' At least one Special Weapons Dalek was among the insane Daleks contained in the Dalek Asylum planet. It appeared to be one of the inactive and/or catatonic of the Dalek inmates. The planet was obliterated by the Parliament of the Daleks, destroying the Special Weapons Dalek along with all the other Daleks in the Asylum.
At least one Special Weapons Dalek was among the Daleks who operated on the rebuilt Skaro where the dying Davros lived as he called the Twelfth Doctor to him. These Daleks were destroyed by the rejuvenated Daleks from the sewers.

A Dalektable Adventure[]
An overgrown Special Weapons Dalek is used by on “Dave" by the Dalek Emperor to attack Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle. The heroes manage to destroy it, and then utilize another, normal-sized Special Weapons Dalek to defeat the Dalek Emperor himself.
Prime Time[]
At the end of the level, a Special Weapon Dalek was summoned by the heroes to stop Lord Vortech. He then went furious and then sent the same Dalek to his respective world.
The Dalek Extermination of Earth
A Special Weapons Dalek can be found among those invading 2025 London. The Doctor hijacks it and uses it to fight the Daleks there.
Trivia[]
- The Special Weapons Dalek made its first appearance in the serial "Rememberance of the Daleks" in Doctor Who's classic era. He later returned in cameo appearances in the revived series in both "Asylum of the Daleks" and the two-part story "The Magician's Apprentice" / "The Witch's Familiar."
- "The Witch's Familiar" also marked the Special Weapons Dalek's first speaking appearance.
