The Shard is a location in LEGO Dimensions which contains every Adventure World portal for Year 2. It is accessible by the use of an Aerial Faith Plate on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game, or its own Portal on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U versions. It was originally just a piece of the background, but has been revealed that it was always planned to be accessible as part of the original 3 Year plan for the game.

Trivia[]
- Prior to its announcement, the Shard was a floating ruin in pieces. In Year 2, the Shard is now complete.
- True to its name, the Shard contains blue crystal shards everywhere, as well as blue flowers and floating tree-like objects.
- Just as the Toy Tags are a yellow-orange color, the light around the Shard is the same color.
- In the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U editions of LEGO Dimensions, the Shard is loaded separately from Vorton, and therefore, has its own gateway next to the Ghostbusters World gateway in the Vorton hub.
