Winkie Guards are minor characters appearing in LEGO Dimensions, from The Wizard of Oz franchise.
Background[]
The Winkie Guards are the Wicked Witch's foot soldiers from The Wizard of Oz.
They are mostly known for their infamous chant, which goes, " Oh-Ee-Yah! Ee-Oh-Ah!". They mostly guard the Castle Grounds.
When Dorothy's friends came to the Witch's Castle to rescue her, they stole three of the Winkie’s uniforms and snuck into the castle.
After the Wicked Witch of the West melted from exposure to water, the Winkies redeem themselves and thank Dorothy for killing her. This strongly implies that they were merely slaves to the Witch and did her evil bidding because they had no choice and feared her wrath. The lead Winkie Guard allowed Dorothy and her friends to take the Wicked Witch of the West's broom.
