Yellow Brick Road is a The Wizard of Oz location featured in LEGO Dimensions. It appears in The Wizard of Oz World, located in Oz, and the levels: Follow the LEGO Brick Road, and Prime Time.
Background[]
The Yellow Brick Road is considered one of the most prominent settings in both the book and movie installments of The Wizard of Oz franchise. Notable for its end including the Emerald City, the Yellow Brick Road is a fundamental Wizard of Oz location. It is attributed to being the location Dorothy Gale had spent the most time on during her travels.
Dimensions Crisis[]
Follow the LEGO Brick Road[]
The beginning of the level takes place at the Yellow Brick Road. After arriving trough a rift made with the just rebuilded LEGO Gateway, Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle wonder what kind of strange place they are, and decide to walk down the road to see if they can find someone to ask for any directions. After a while, they encounter Dorothy Gale and her friends singing together as they walk towards Emerald City to meet the Wizard of Oz. Batman goes on to stop them as he mistakes Scarecrow for The Scarecrow from his dimension, confusing the group, but then Dorothy and her friends get sucked into a rift as the trio hears an evil cackling laugther.
The heroes then see the Shift Keystone further ahead on the Yellow Brick Road, recognizing it as part of the gateway they were sent through, but before they can get to it, the Wicked Witch of the West and her Flying Monkeys appear. As the witch talks about how happy she is Dorothy is gone, she notices the Keystone and seems to realize it is a powerful artifact, and a fight ensues. In the end, the witch is defeated by the heroes, and retreats to her castle but takes the keystone with her. The heroes then proceed to follow her towards her domain, leaving the Yellow Brick Road.
Prime Time[]
While going towards Foundation Prime, parts of the Yellow Brick Road appear as one of the various rift items summoned with the Locate Keystone to proceed.
